Hiring Companies

Once you are registered on the Dawaami system it is completely free to post a job. Dawaami only take a cut of the final fee when the Job has been filled and the employee starts working. Your Success is our Success!

You only get Invoiced by Dawaami accounts team when the selected candidates commencement of employment as confirmed by you and the Dawaamer. Your Company then have 14 days to pay the invoice. This is usual done by wire transfer. Remember the fee is then held with Dawaami in escrow for the first 60 days and you have a 100% money back guarantee, and from 61 to 90 days you have a 50% money back guarantee.

Dawaamers get paid through our escrow system, they are paid 50% of their portion of the fee after 61days, and the remaining 50% after 91 days.

The job post closes after you have accepted 5 bids or after 1 month.

The great thing about Dawaami is that you get to pick and choose which Dawaamers to work with – we suggest always working with a minimum of 2 and a max of 5.

Each of the Dawaamers have detailed statistics and feedback about their previous work and we suggest going through those before picking the Dawaamer.

This is totally up to you, being a true marketplace means the Dawaamers get the chance to bid what they believe is fair for their time. Some Dawaamers might bid low because they have some downtime – some might bid low because they are freelancing as a Dawaamer.

The high bids usually come from experienced busy Dawaamers – so pick the bid that makes sense to you or pick a number of bids with various bid values to give you choice.

When you accept a bid from a Dawaamer or multiple Dawaamers – up to 5 – then a workspace opens up between you and that Dawaamer.

This Workspace is a chat room for you and the Dawaamer to discuss more about the Job – as well as given a space for the Dawaamer to upload CV’s.

Please keep all communication in the Workspace this way Dawaami can track everything that is happening.

Anything that happens outside of the Workspace would be done at your own risk. Should any dispute arise then only the data in the Workspace will be considered in finding an agreement.

When you upload a Job your contact details will not be shown – and no one will be able to send you CVs until you accept their bid which opens a workspace with the Dawaamer.

You get the chance to disengage any Dawaamer if you feel that they are no longer at the level you want to perform at.

Please note though that if the disengaged Dawaamers have submitted any candidates and you end up hiring one of them the Dawaamer will still be paid fairly.

Remember all CV’s are time stamped when they come into our system.

You can certainly talk to the candidate yes but would need permission from the Dawaamer. Most CV’s are often submitted without the candidate’s contact details to prevent the Dawaamer from being bypassed.

In order to progress with a particular candidate, you should ask to interview them by sending a request to the Dawaamer through your workspace. This will be received by the Dawaamer, who can arrange for an interview at the time and place or method you like.

Dawaami does not get involved in any of the interview arrangements.

Remember keep all communication in the Workspace.

If you already have the CV of the Candidate that is uploaded by the Dawaamer than please let them know immediately via the Workspace.

Should you ask the Dawaamer to arrange an interview than you are confirming that the Candidate is attached with that particular Dawaamer and should you hire the Candidate than the Dawaamers fee will be payable.

Please be aware that CV’s are time stamped in our backoffice system

There is a hire button in every workspace – when you have found the right candidate hit the Hire button within the workspace of that Dawaamer and a form should appear with some fields that you will need to fill in.

This information will be sent to our accounts team.

It will also be verified from the Dawaamers side who will have an identical form to fill in.

When the Job has been successfully filled by the Dawaamer and the candidate has started work then you will be charged the winning calculated fee whether that be fixed fee or % of annual salary on the starting date of the candidate.

An invoice will be sent to you from our accounts team and your Company will have 14 days to pay the fee. This is usual done by wire transfer. Remember the fee is then held with Dawaami in escrow for the first 60 days and you have a 100% money back guarantee, and from 61 to 90 days you have a 50% money back guarantee.

When the Hire button is pressed, and the pop up form is filled in by you – this is then sent to Dawaami’s account team for processing.

If the candidate leaves the employment for any reason except where the Candidate is made redundant, or a change in management then because of the way we pay out the Dawaamers you have the same protection as you would be using any agency in fact probably even better.

Following the closing of a Job we ask both the Employer and the Dawaamer to leave a review about each other so as to best inform others and make our community great and as open and transparent as possible.

DAWAAMERS

Absolutely nothing – its completely free!! Dawaami only take a % cut from a Job that you fill with a Hiring Company.

However your recruitment profile will need to valid – this site is only open to serious recruiters currently.

We validate this by looking into your Linkedin Profile – we don’t believe a recruiter can actually be a recruiter without a Linkedin Profile.

Using Dawaami’s unique Marketplace you can search for jobs that have been posted by Hiring Companies that suit your industry or functional specialization as well as your geographical location.

When you find a job that you think you have the right candidates for then you can press the bid button. A pop up window will show and allow you to bid in two ways:

  • As a % of the total annual salary.
  • As a fixed fee.

You decide what is better for each job – you can always change your bid at a later time as long as the job is still open for bidding.

Remember there are other Dawaamers bidding so make your bid as competitive as you think possible.

We invoice the Hiring Company on Day 1 of your candidate starting work with them – and do everything to collect the money before Dawaami’s first pay out date to the Dawaamer on the 61st day. However as you can imagine there are scenarios where clients do not pay on time – we will inform you of this in advance. We will continue to the peruse action against the Hiring Company until we receive the funds. Dawaami however will not be liable for the funds at any point.

Jobs are open until the Hiring Company has chosen 5 Dawaamers to work on the Job or a maximum of 1 month.

We show all the other Dawaamers bids in a table format so you can see roughly where the bids are coming in.

The Hiring Company usually chooses 1 to 5 Dawaamers for any one Job. When you have been chosen you will receive an e-mail notification and the Workspace between you and the Hiring Company will open.

If you are a Recruitment Agency and would like to get your Recruiters to start using the site yet you control the payouts to your recruiters then please reach out to us at info@dawaami.com and we can discuss an arrangement.

When you have won a bid then a Workspace is opened.

The Workspace is a chat room for you and the Hiring Company to discuss more about the job – as well as to have space to upload CV’s through Dawaami’s upload button.

Please keep all communication in the Workspace this way Dawaami can track everything that is happening.

You can upload your candidates directly into the Job through your workspace – you will see the upload candidate CV button to the Job.

Be careful though the system monitors how many CV’s you are uploading which can affect your statistics when bidding for future Jobs.

Also please be aware the candidates CV’s are time stamped so as no duplicated candidates can overlap.

The Hiring Company will ask for interviews through the workspace – make sure all your communication stays on the Workspace that way Dawaami can monitor all actions should any disputes arise in future.

At the moment there is no Applicant tracking system so its all done manually.

It is the duty of the Hiring company to inform you immediately if they have the Candidate already in their database or from another Dawaamer.

Should they ask you to arrange an interviews with the Candidate they are confirming that the Candidate is yours.

This is done from the Hiring Company side but when its pressed you will be sent an e-mail by our accounts team asking you for confirmation of the hire – including the salary agreed upon. This is important for you to fill in correctly as we calculate your fee from this.

We will also ask you to confirm the start date of the Candidate as well.

The hiring company should inform Dawaami of the change in start date which we will confirm with you to make sure that everything is done fairly.

You get paid what was agreed upon at the start of the process – either a % of the agreed salary or a fixed amount as agreed.

Dawaami takes a 20% cut from the total fee and you get to keep the 80%.

You get paid through a transfer to your bank account of choice – which we will ask you on hiring of candidate.

You get the following payment:

  • 50% of your total fee (minus 50% of Dawaami’s 20% fee) on the 61st day after the Candidate starts work.
  • 50% of your total fee (minus final part of Dawaami’s fee) on day 91st day after the Candidate starts work.

Please note that we will only transfer to a bank account in your name and not any third party accounts.

The Hiring Company has a very clear refund policy, which is as follows:

  • 0 – 60 days – 100% money back guarantee.
  • 61 – 90 days – 50% money back guarantee.

The payment of your fee is reflected similarly as this:

  • Should your candidate resign or lose their job from day 0 to 60, you will not be due a fee.
  • Should your candidate resign or lose their job between 61 and 90 days, you will be due 50% of your fee.

Off course we will reach out to the Hiring Company ourselves to make sure that the candidate reason falls within the limits of our agreements meaning except where the Candidate is made redundant, or a change in management.
